Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Corporate Strategy Manager to join our leadership team at a leading industrials and manufacturing firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. This role is pivotal in shaping the company's long-term strategic direction, driving growth initiatives, and supporting executive decision-making through data-driven insights and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of the company's long-term strategic plan, including market entry, portfolio optimization, and growth initiatives.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth industry, competitor, and customer analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the manufacturing and industrials landscape.
- M&A Support: Evaluate potential acquisition targets, support due diligence efforts, and collaborate with corporate development on integration planning.
- Executive Presentations: Prepare high-impact presentations and strategic updates for the executive leadership team and board of directors.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with business unit leaders, finance, operations, and R&D to align strategic initiatives with operational execution.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and dashboards to track progress against strategic goals and recommend course corrections as needed.
- Innovation & Transformation: Identify and assess emerging technologies, sustainability trends, and operational improvements relevant to the industrials sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a strategic role within an industrials/manufacturing company.
- Strong financial modeling, business case development, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of industrials and manufacturing value chains, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and strategic planning tools; experience with ERP or BI systems is a plus.
