I'm working with a client who is expanding their team and looking to hire a Mandarin-speaking Talent Acquisition Specialist. The role is based in either Shanghai, Beijing, or Hong Kong, and will involve travel across the region.

The client operates in a dynamic, cross-border investment environment, with a focus on asset management and private capital. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth settings and enjoys building strong talent pipelines across diverse functions.


What does the role involve?

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple business units, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Build and maintain a strong network of candidates, especially in finance, operations, and investment-related roles
  • Represent the client at industry events and networking functions
  • Provide market insights and contribute to workforce planning and employer branding initiatives
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting

What experience do you need?

  • Fluent Mandarin speaker with strong English communication skills
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, ideally within financial services, consulting, or high-growth environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and travel across the region as needed
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and sourcing platforms
