Software Developer
We are partnering with a leading, technology-driven quantitative trading firm seeking Research Developers to join their team supporting a portfolio of fully automated electronic trading strategies.
This role sits at the intersection of quant research and software engineering, offering the opportunity to work on real-time trading systems with direct impact on strategy performance and PnL.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop predictive signals and trading models
Analyse noisy, high-frequency data using statistical and machine learning techniques
Translate research ideas into production-ready trading systems
Continuously iterate and optimise strategies to drive measurable PnL improvements
Take ownership of ideas from initial hypothesis through to live deployment
Requirements:
Degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar)
Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning, with practical application to real-world datasets
Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java
Demonstrated interest in systematic trading or financial markets (internship experience is a plus)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated, results-driven mindset with a focus on building impactful solutions
