Overview:
My client is hiring a dynamic and experienced Small Business, National Partners Relationship Manager to join their growing team. This role is focused on cultivating and managing strategic relationships with national broker partners, driving profitable growth across standard commercial lines including Business Owners Policy (BOP), Commercial Auto, Property, General Liability, and other core small business products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with national and regional broker partners to drive new business and retention within the small commercial segment.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, product, and distribution teams to align strategies and deliver tailored solutions to partners.
  • Identify growth opportunities and execute strategic initiatives to expand market share in key territories.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on small business insurance products and distribution strategies.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting on production, profitability, and pipeline activity.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to enhance visibility and strengthen relationships.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on market trends, partner needs, and competitive positioning.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance, with a focus on small business lines.
  • Proven success in relationship management, sales, or distribution roles within a carrier or broker environment.
  • Strong understanding of standard commercial lines including BOP, Auto, Property, and GL.
  • Experience working with national brokers and Insurtech platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, insurance, or related field.
