Position Overview:
A top title insurance company is looking to bring on a remote Senior Title Examiner to the team. You will have the opportunity to bring your expertise to execute real property title examinations for commercial and/or residential properties. The ideal candidate will have experience with Florida title examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates property records and historical filings to confirm ownership history, legal descriptions, and recorded limitations affecting residential title.
- Performs detailed, methodical research across multiple public record sources to support accurate and timely title determinations.
- Investigates, documents, and resolves routine defects, discrepancies, or inconsistencies identified during comprehensive title review.
- Creates preliminary title documentation, verifies supporting data, and validates overall report accuracy in alignment with internal standards.
- Applies approved underwriting guidance when appropriate, supports operational objectives, and carries out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years title examination commercial or residential experience.
- 1+ years Florida experience.
- Strong analytic and communication skills.
