An opportunity to join a leading Acquisition Finance team that partners with private equity sponsors to deliver innovative financing solutions for leveraged buyouts and recapitalisations. The team works on complex transactions across multiple regions and industries, providing exposure to both loan and bond markets and collaborating closely with capital markets teams.
About the Role:
As an Associate, you will play a key role in the origination and execution of sponsor-backed leveraged finance transactions. You'll work in live deal teams led by senior bankers, gaining hands-on experience in credit analysis, structuring, and syndication. This is a dynamic environment that requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support origination and execution of leveraged finance transactions
Conduct company, market, and valuation analysis
Review and verify financial models, recommend sensitivities based on credit analysis
Prepare pitch books, credit papers, and syndication materials
Assist with due diligence and legal documentation processes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across risk, capital markets, and compliance
Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements
Looking For:
2-4 years of experience in leveraged finance or related areas
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
