This senior-level accounting role supports financial reporting, accounting analysis, and key business initiatives within a regulated environment. The position works closely with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to evaluate complex transactions, provide accounting guidance, and support reporting, compliance, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate complex transactions and accounting matters.
- Support financial reporting, disclosures, and compliance activities.
- Research accounting guidance and document conclusions.
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
- Partner with stakeholders across finance and business teams.
- Assist with audit and regulatory requests.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong financial reporting and accounting analysis background.
- Ability to interpret accounting guidance and communicate recommendations effectively.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
- Insurance, financial services, or public accounting experience preferred.
