Role Summary
We are looking to speak to experienced L/S Equity Portfolio Managers with a strong equity research background to lead investment strategies within a defined sector (e.g., Technology, Healthcare, Industrials, Consumer). This is a high-impact role for a candidate with a proven ability to generate investment ideas and manage capital with discipline and conviction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sector coverage and develop high-conviction investment theses across public equities
- Build and manage a concentrated L/S portfolio within your sector, aligned with the fund's risk parameters
- Conduct deep fundamental analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and competitive landscape assessment
- Monitor macro and micro trends affecting your sector and adjust positioning accordingly
- Collaborate with analysts and other PMs to share insights and refine strategies
- Present ideas and performance updates to the investment committee
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in equity research or portfolio management, with sector specialization
- Strong track record of alpha generation and risk-adjusted returns
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
- CFA, MBA, or equivalent qualification preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results
