Salary: $90k-$110k + bonus and equity
Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing investment platform and play a key role in supporting and enhancing the operational infrastructure that drives both client and investment activity. Partnering closely with teams across Investments, Client Solutions, Technology, and Compliance, you will help streamline processes, strengthen operational controls, and support the seamless execution of onboarding, account maintenance, transaction processing, asset transfers, cash movements, and reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in financial services operations, attention to detail, and a process-improvement mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while helping scale the firm's operational capabilities.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Support day-to-day investment and brokerage operations, including client onboarding, account maintenance, transaction processing, and account servicing.
- Process and oversee cash movements, securities transfers (ACATS, DTC, journals), and other operational activities while ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
- Provide trade support by monitoring settlements, resolving exceptions, and investigating operational issues.
- Perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and partner with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Review operational requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor operational workflows and service queues to ensure timely completion of requests and a high-quality client experience.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and scalable infrastructure improvements as the business grows.
- Maintain process documentation, operational procedures, and a strong culture of risk management and compliance.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 3+ years of experience in investment operations, brokerage operations, wealth management operations, or a related financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of account servicing, securities transfers, cash movements, trade support, reconciliations, and operational controls.
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with custodial, brokerage, or clearing platforms preferred.
- Exposure to alternative investments, private funds, exchange funds, or similar investment products is a plus.
- Experience within a fintech, startup, or high-growth organization is preferred.
- Must be authortized to work in the United States.
