We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Equity Sales Trader to join our team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in financial markets, preferably from a sales, research, or trading background. This role involves supporting senior sales traders, executing client orders, and contributing to revenue growth through strong client engagement and market insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior sales traders in managing client relationships and executing equity trades across global markets.
- Provide timely market updates, trade ideas, and research insights to clients.
- Monitor market trends and news to identify trading opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and efficient trade execution while adhering to compliance and risk management guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (research, trading, operations) to deliver seamless client service.
- Prepare daily market summaries and client reports.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-2 years in equity sales, research, or trading.
- Strong understanding of equity markets and trading mechanics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and other trading tools.
- Language: Fluent in English; additional Asian or European languages is a plus.
- Regional Coverage: Experience covering Southeast Asia, Middle East, and Europe is highly desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Demonstrated interest in global equity markets and client engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
