About the Opportunity
On behalf of a global high-frequency trading firm, we are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Group Financial Controller to lead financial governance and drive strategic business insights across multiple entities.
Role Overview
As Group Financial Controller, you will oversee consolidated financial reporting while acting as a key business partner to senior leadership and trading teams. You will provide actionable insights that influence strategies and long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities.
Lead global consolidation of financial statements and ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and international regulations.
Oversee internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
Drive group-level budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning.
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor profitability, cost efficiency, and capital utilization.
Implement process improvements and automation to enhance reporting speed and accuracy.
Manage audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting for global entities.
Provide insights on capital structure optimization and funding strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial control, ideally within trading, fintech, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS; experience with multi-entity, cross-border structures.
- Proven ability to combine technical expertise with commercial acumen in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
