A leading quantitative investment firm is seeking a seasoned analyst to join its India office, supporting the portfolio manager with a decade-long track record in managing fundamental strategies. The role focuses on fundamental research across India's large-cap universe, contributing to a disciplined and data-driven investment process.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct deep fundamental research on India large-cap equities, including financial modelling, valuation, and industry analysis
Analyse macroeconomic trends and policy developments relevant to Indian markets
Collaborate with quantitative traders and PM to integrate fundamental insights into systematic strategies
Monitor earnings, corporate actions, and regulatory changes to identify investment opportunities
Contribute to investment theses and portfolio construction discussions
Maintain and enhance research tools and databases to support decision-making

Candidate Profile:

3-10 years of experience in hedge fund, asset management, or long/short equity research, ideally within a market-neutral framework
Proven expertise in India large-cap equities is essential
Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or a related discipline
Solid understanding of macroeconomic dynamics and their impact on equity markets
Excellent analytical, modelling, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment
