Location: Los Angeles
Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000
Schedule: 4 days a week onsite
Role Description:
We are partnered with a rapidly growing alternative investment platform who is seeking a Fund Operations Associate to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of fund accounting or administration experience who is looking to move from the service-provider side to the investment manager side and gain direct exposure to fund operations across venture capital, hedge fund, credit, and special purpose investment vehicles. You will work directly alongside senior leadership and be involved in fund accounting, reconciliations, capital activity, investor onboarding, and treasury operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting audits, tax deliverables, and K-1 processes
- Preparing capital calls, distributions, and cash management activities
- Maintaining investor records, subscriptions, and AML/KYC documentation
- Performing daily and monthly cash, position, and trade reconciliations
- Supporting compliance, regulatory calendars, and operational projects
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or investment operations
- Strong accounting and reconciliation skills
- Interest in alternative investments, financial markets, and emerging technology
- CPA track
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
