My hedge fund client is hiring a full stack engineer to join a high-performing team focused on building advanced tools for discretionary trading. This team develops analytics platforms that support portfolio managers in making informed decisions and managing risk across global markets.
The role offers the chance to work closely with investment professionals, researchers, and technologists to design and deliver modern trading and research applications. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically strong, and eager to take ownership of projects that directly influence investment outcomes.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain full stack web applications that support pre-trade analysis and risk workflows
Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions
Shape the future of the user interface strategy within the investment platform
Contribute to the development of scalable, cloud-native infrastructure
Translate business needs into technical solutions through close collaboration with cross-functional teams
Requirements
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, along with experience in at least one backend language such as Python
Ability to deliver intuitive and high-performance user interfaces
Interest in financial markets and trading workflows
Comfort working in Linux environments and with cloud technologies
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across disciplines
