Finance Manager | Family Office
We are helping our client, a well-funded private family office, to recruit a Finance Manager who will take full ownership of the finance function in Hong Kong.
The role would suit someone who enjoys operating independently, taking ownership and being comfortable rolling up their sleeves in a lean environment.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the finance function for the family office.
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare management accounts and financial analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts payable, expenses, banking and cash management.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external service providers, banks, auditors and advisors.
- Ensure strong financial controls and governance processes are maintained.
- Support investment-related finance and operational matters where required.
- Drive process improvements and enhance reporting capabilities.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
- 8+ years of accounting, financial control or finance management experience.
- Experience within family offices, asset management, financial services, private investment firms or similar environments preferred.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Comfortable operating as a standalone finance professional.
- Hands-on mindset with willingness to cover both strategic and operational responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
