Job Overview:
A leading private equity firm specializing in infrastructure and renewable energy investments is seeking a Head of Capital Formation to lead fundraising efforts for the firm. This executive will work closely with senior leadership to cultivate relationships with institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and other capital partners globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all fundraising initiatives, including strategy development, roadshows, and investor communications.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective LPs.
- Collaborate with investment and operations teams to prepare marketing materials, pitch decks, and data rooms.
- Oversee the capital formation process from initial outreach through closing.
- Monitor market trends and investor sentiment to inform fundraising strategy.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and investor events.
- Manage a small team focused on investor relations and fundraising operations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in capital formation, investor relations, or fundraising within private equity, infrastructure, or renewable energy.
- Proven track record of raising institutional capital across fund structures.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure and energy markets.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
