Our client, a top-tier Property & Casualty insurance carrier, is seeking a seasoned senior level Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. In this high-impact role, you'll work directly with industry veterans and collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, product development, and actuarial teams. This is a strategic opportunity to influence key business decisions, drive operational excellence, and contribute to innovative insurance solutions in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Position Overview:

  • Collaborate closely with underwriting, product, and actuarial teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Support the development and enhancement of insurance products, pricing strategies, and operational workflows.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable insights and functional specifications.
  • Leverage data and analytics to support business case development, performance tracking, and strategic planning.
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements and align with industry best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional collaboration to drive project success.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance operations, underwriting, product development, and actuarial processes.
  • Proven ability to gather and document business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support solution delivery.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with insurance data models.
