We Are Seeking: Web3 Security Engineer
This role focuses on safeguarding decentralized applications, wallets, and blockchain protocols against emerging threats. You'll design secure architectures, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement best-in-class security practices for Web3 ecosystems. Working closely with developers and product teams, you'll ensure robust protection for digital assets and user transactions across multiple platforms.
Ideal candidates combine strong technical security skills with a deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure and cryptographic principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security solutions for blockchain protocols and wallet applications
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability audits for smart contracts and Web3 platforms
- Collaborate with developers to integrate secure coding practices and encryption standards
- Respond to security incidents with forensic analysis and remediation plans
- Research emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities to strengthen defense mechanisms
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in application or blockchain security, penetration testing, or cryptography
- Proficiency in smart contract security (Solidity/Vyper) and wallet infrastructure standards (BIP-39, BIP-44)
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, key management, and secure multi-party computation
- Familiarity with OWASP principles and Web3-specific vulnerabilities
- Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly and work in fast-paced environments
