Assistant Relationship Manager (GC Desk) - Int'l Private Bank
Our client is a leading international private bank with a strong presence across Asia. They are seeking an experienced Assistant Relationship Manager to support a team of Relationship Managers serving high-net-worth clients.
This is a broad-based client servicing role offering exposure to all aspects of private banking, including client onboarding, account maintenance, investment execution support, credit administration, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to Relationship Managers in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries, requests, and transaction-related matters.
- Assist with account opening, periodic reviews, KYC/AML documentation, and ongoing client due diligence.
- Support investment and trading activities by coordinating with product specialists, operations, compliance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Approximately 3-8 years of experience within private banking, wealth management, client servicing, sales support, or investment operations.
- Good understanding of private banking products and services, including investment and credit solutions.
- Familiarity with KYC, AML, suitability, and other regulatory requirements within the wealth management industry.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Fluent Mandarin and English language skills are essential to support Mandarin-speaking clients.
