VP, FIG M&A
Our client is a leading international bank seeking to strengthen its Financial Institutions Advisory team in Singapore. The team partners with FI clients across the region on strategic initiatives, corporate finance transactions, and broader advisory engagements, while working closely with product specialists and coverage teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the origination and execution of advisory engagements involving financial institutions across the region.
- Assist in evaluating strategic opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and other corporate transactions.
- Develop client presentations, financial analyses, valuation materials, and marketing documentation.
- Manage transaction workstreams and coordinate multiple stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Lead financial modelling, valuation analysis, and commercial assessments.
- Prepare transaction-related materials, including investor presentations, process documentation, and management materials.
- Work closely with internal product teams, industry specialists, external advisers, and clients to identify and execute opportunities.
- Support senior bankers in cultivating and managing client relationships.
- Review work produced by junior team members and contribute to their development and training.
- Maintain high standards of execution, compliance, and risk management throughout client engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Approximately 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, M&A, corporate development, or related financial services roles.
- Prior exposure to the Financial Institutions sector is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting strategic transactions, investments, M&A processes, capital raising, or related corporate finance activities.
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, financial modelling, and transaction execution processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
