Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions from origination through completion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate executives, private equity sponsors and other key stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on strategic alternatives, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs and broader corporate finance matters.
- Manage transaction teams, ensuring high-quality analytical output and execution excellence.
- Prepare and deliver board-level presentations, strategic reviews and client pitches.
- Support and contribute to business development initiatives across the German market.
- Mentor and develop junior bankers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with sector and product teams across Europe and globally.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 8-15 years of investment banking or M&A advisory experience.
- Current Director, Senior Vice President or high-performing VP on the path to Director.
- Strong transaction execution experience across mid-market and large-cap M&A situations.
- Demonstrated involvement in sell-side, buy-side, mergers, carve-outs and strategic advisory assignments.
- Meaningful exposure to Industrials and/or Infrastructure sectors.
- Ability to advise clients across a broader range of sectors beyond core coverage expertise.
