Our client, a leading $5bn+ multi-strategy hedge fund, is actively seeking to expand its footprint in the systematic commodities space by hiring a Portfolio Manager with a proven track record in mid-frequency trading strategies.
Role Overview:
- Lead and manage a systematic commodities portfolio with a generalist/wider commodities coverage.
- Deploy mid-frequency strategies across US commodity markets.
- Collaborate with world-class researchers, technologists, and risk managers.
- Trade from the firm's New York office, with access to a significant book from day one.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3-year track record of consistent PnL generation in systematic commodities.
- Demonstrated Sharpe ratio of 2.0+, with annualized PnL of $10mm+.
- Experience operating independently or within a pod structure.
- Strong understanding of data-driven trading, signal generation, and execution optimization.
