Junior Quant Developer
A leading global multi-strat is seeking a Junior Quantitative Developer to join a high‑performance Fixed Income Quantitative Strategies team. This role offers the opportunity to develop and enhance production-grade analytics, quantitative libraries, and data pipelines that directly support risk, research, and portfolio management across a sophisticated investment platform. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quantitative libraries and analytics across Python and C++
- Build and improve end‑user tooling, APIs, and workflow automation
- Partner with quant researchers, risk teams, and developers to deliver scalable solutions
- Enhance data processing pipelines, historical analytics, and scenario modeling workflows
- Contribute to proof‑of‑concept development and ongoing platform evolution
- Support production systems, including diagnostics, debugging, and issue resolution
What you'll bring
- 1-3 years of experience in software engineering or quantitative development (internships welcome)
- Advanced degree in a STEM discipline (CS, Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.)
- Strong, hands-on experience in Python AND C++
- Strong fundamentals in debugging, testing, and version control
- Experience working with data-intensive systems or structured datasets
- Interest in quantitative finance, risk, or time-series concepts
- Strong communication skills in a collaborative technical environment
- Exposure to financial markets, trading systems, or risk platforms
- Internship or project experience in front-office or quantitative environments
