Financial Due Diligence Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for corporate clients, private equity firms, and lenders.
- Analyze financial statements and operational data to assess quality of earnings, net working capital, debt-like items, and other key metrics.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and operational advisors.
- Attend and lead meetings with target companies and stakeholders.
- Support negotiation processes by providing financial insights and deal structuring advice.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Contribute to business development efforts including proposals and client pitches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA strongly preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or audit
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and M&A processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data rooms and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
