Financial Due Diligence Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for corporate clients, private equity firms, and lenders.
  • Analyze financial statements and operational data to assess quality of earnings, net working capital, debt-like items, and other key metrics.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, risks, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and operational advisors.
  • Attend and lead meetings with target companies and stakeholders.
  • Support negotiation processes by providing financial insights and deal structuring advice.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Contribute to business development efforts including proposals and client pitches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or audit
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and M&A processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data rooms and financial modeling tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
