A single‑CIO investment shop is seeking an Execution Trader to join its Hong Kong office. The role focuses on trading Asia equities, with particular emphasis on Japanese and Hong Kong markets. This position reports directly to the CIO, who brings two decades of investment experience.

Key Responsibilities

Execute equity trades across Asia markets, with a strong focus on Japan and Hong Kong.
Support daily trading operations, ensuring accuracy in order execution, position management, and margin oversight.
Work closely with the CIO to implement trading strategies and ensure smooth communication of market colour and trade updates.
Collaborate with internal teams in a highly open, team‑oriented environment.
Contribute to process enhancement and, where possible, assist in workflow automation or tooling improvements.

Requirements

Experience in equity execution from either the buy side or sell side; trade support professionals with strong execution exposure will also be considered.
Strong attention to detail, especially in areas such as margin monitoring and trade reconciliation.
High level of collaboration and comfort working in a small, tight-knit team.
Fluent in English
Familiarity with coding or automation is beneficial but not mandatory.
Based in Hong Kong, with a flexible work‑from‑home arrangement available.
