Director, Actuarial Services (Medicare Advantage)
A leading regional healthcare organization is seeking a senior‑level actuary to lead its Medicare Advantage team. This high‑visibility role serves as the modeling lead, market strategist, and business owner for Medicare Part C and Part D products.
Role Overview
- Lead the development of Medicare Part C bids and oversee coordination of Part D bid activities.
- Own the full Medicare Advantage and PDP product lifecycle, from strategic planning and pricing to forecasting, product design, and implementation.
- Manage and develop a team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, trend analysis, and evaluating key revenue and cost drivers.
- Serve as a senior actuarial leader partnering across the business, including product, finance, marketing, sales, regulatory, provider contracting, data/analytics, and enterprise risk adjustment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of actuarial experience, with substantial exposure to Medicare Advantage.
- Deep expertise in Medicare Part C and Part D, including bid development, forecasting, and the ability to translate complex modeling outputs into practical strategic insights.
- 5+ years of leadership experience (managing direct reports, leading teams, or overseeing major projects).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate an actuarial team while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional partners.
- ASA or FSA designation required .
