Selby Jennings has partnered with the Life Sciences arm of a long-tenured leader in the manufacturing space who is looking to bring on a new Financial Controller to their office in Tewksbury, MA! This is a fully on-site, direct-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to functional leaders, providing financial models, dashboards, and insights to drive business growth.
  • Lead revenue recognition guidance and support competitive intelligence efforts.
  • Collaborate with leadership and corporate teams on strategic and ad-hoc projects.
  • Develop deep understanding of business drivers, markets, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with commercial and finance teams to build monthly, annual, and long-term revenue forecasts.
  • Enhance analytics across regions, markets, and products by working with pricing and account teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial finance processes and metrics.
  • Manage and maintain financial databases and reporting tools for commercial operations.
  • Prepare monthly financial review packages with key insights, variance analysis, and forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial close processes in compliance with US GAAP, statutory, and tax requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills; ability to influence and challenge decisions.
  • Solid understanding of financial and management accounting (US GAAP, SOX).
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • ERP and financial reporting system experience (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft, HFM, Essbase) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in life sciences or multinational manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
