Senior HPC Data Center Engineer

Role Overview
We're looking for a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of data center development-from initial planning and design through to construction and deployment. This role is critical in shaping high-efficiency, scalable environments that support evolving business and technology needs.


What You'll Be Responsible For

Design & Planning

  • Leading the creation of tailored data center layouts that maximize space utilization and operational efficiency
  • Designing structured cabling systems that are scalable and future-ready
  • Developing power and capacity strategies to support long-term growth
  • Ensuring all designs align with Tier-level standards and industry benchmarks

Infrastructure & Systems Integration

  • Overseeing the integration of IT and network infrastructure into high-performance environments
  • Providing technical guidance on power distribution, cooling systems, and structured cabling
  • Planning seamless transitions for IT workloads during infrastructure migrations

Construction & Delivery

  • Managing end-to-end build processes, from concept through commissioning
  • Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
  • Applying modular construction techniques to enable rapid deployment and flexibility
  • Maintaining a vendor-neutral approach to ensure the best-fit solutions are selected

Compliance & Risk Oversight

  • Ensuring all designs and builds comply with local codes, certifications, and regulatory standards
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing strategies for resilience and disaster recovery
  • Maintaining documentation and enforcing best practices for safety, security, and uptime

Client Engagement & Project Leadership

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand technical and business requirements
  • Advising on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives
  • Providing post-deployment support to ensure optimal performance and scalability

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in data center design, construction, or infrastructure deployment
  • Strong knowledge of power and cooling systems in mission-critical environments
  • Expertise in structured cabling and network infrastructure design
  • Experience planning and executing technology migrations
  • Familiarity with modular construction approaches
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies
  • Experience with DCIM platforms (Sunbird preferred) is a plus
