A leading global manufacturer with a strong presence in North America is seeking a Senior Controller to join its dynamic finance team. This is a confidential search for a strategic financial leader who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the North American division.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide strategic financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Manage cost accounting, inventory controls, and capital expenditure tracking.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across multiple sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within manufacturing or packaging.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
