Senior Commercial Lines Producer

A growing insurance organization is seeking a Senior Commercial Insurance Producer to drive new business and develop long-term commercial client relationships. This is an individual contributor role focused on business development, client acquisition and risk management solutions, with no requirement to bring a portable book of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new commercial insurance business through prospecting, networking, referrals and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified commercial prospects.
- Develop relationships with business owners, executives and key decision makers.
- Conduct insurance program reviews and identify client coverage and risk management needs.
- Develop and present customized commercial insurance solutions.
- Negotiate coverage structures and pricing with carriers and insurance partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support referrals, client retention and overall account growth.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the client relationship.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- 7+ years of commercial Property & Casualty insurance sales experience.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license, preferably within the Northeast.
- Proven track record of generating $300,000+ in annual new commercial insurance revenue.
- Strong experience prospecting, developing and closing new commercial business.
- Experience serving middle market or upper middle market commercial clients.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage and risk management strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills: industry designations such as CIC, CPCU, CRM or ARM are a plus.
- Established network of referral partners and business relationships, with experience developing opportunities through centers of influence and strategic partnerships.
Candidates may be considered nationwide, with a preference for professionals located in the Northeast. This position offers remote or hybrid flexibility.
