Overview:
A leading integrated energy company is seeking an experienced RINs & Renewables Trader to join its compliance and renewables trading team in Houston. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing the RINs trading portfolio, ensuring compliance with the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), and securing renewable fuel supply for blending with petroleum products.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a profitable RINs trading portfolio, driving value through strategic trades
- Analyze complex market dynamics to adapt strategies and maximize returns
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and emerging markets
- Monitor global renewable fuel supply and logistics trends to inform trading decisions
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, traders, and brokers
Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in renewable fuels, blending, contract negotiation, and logistics (truck and rail)
- Proven expertise in RINs trading and familiarity with regulatory programs
