A tier 1 Investment bank based in London is looking to expand their linear rates Quant Analytics team. Their linear rates business have had some exceptional trading results over the past couple of years and have a number of expansionary projects to work on.
The hiring manager is one of the leaders in flow rates analytics, and a well known academic in the quant space. They will be working very closely with one of the top performing trading desks in EMEA.
Alongside curve analytics, there will be collaboration with the electronic trading desk, and utilisation of new, modern techniques including ML and AAD.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working as a front office quantitative analyst, with a specific focus on interest rates and curve analytics.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of quantitative finance.
- Python, C++ and Excel skills.
- Experience of version control systems.
- Leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions using C++.
- Interest rate curve building. Work with stakeholder groups to develop models.
- Involvement in designing, developing, testing, and documenting model integration workflows.
- Improve quality of coding and testing environment.
