Senior Investment Banking Analyst - Mergers & Acquisitions

Role Overview
The Senior Analyst plays a central role in executing sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. You will manage critical workstreams, produce high-quality analyses and client materials, and support deal teams with increasing autonomy. The role offers a clear progression toward the Associate level for professionals demonstrating strong judgement, leadership, and execution capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of middle market M&A transactions, owning major workstreams with minimal oversight
- Build, refine, and audit complex financial models (3-statement, DCF, merger models) and conduct detailed valuation analyses
- Develop and enhance client-facing materials, including CIMs, pitch presentations, and management decks
- Coordinate due diligence, including data room management and buyer Q&A tracking
- Conduct in-depth company, industry, and market research to support strategic positioning
- Mentor Analysts and review work products to ensure accuracy and high-quality output
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of investment banking experience, or a combination of IB and TAS/Valuations with strong M&A exposure
- Advanced expertise in financial modelling and valuation, with ability to work independently
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking ability
- Demonstrated ownership mindset, maturity, and strong work ethic
- Interest in long-term career development within middle market investment banking
