Position Overview

The firm is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its growing team in Sausalito, California. This is a dynamic, hands-on role offering exposure to the full investment lifecycle. The Analyst will support the team in working with key partners, including capital providers (equity, tax equity, and debt), project development partners, and external asset management contractors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuations for renewable energy projects
  • Support due diligence efforts across technical, financial, legal, and regulatory workstreams
  • Assist in transaction execution and project financing, including tax equity and debt structuring
  • Contribute to asset management and performance tracking of portfolio investments
  • Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with development partners and third-party advisors
  • Participate in new investment analysis, proposal development, and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience in renewable energy and/or finance (e.g., project finance, real asset investing, investment banking, or private equity)
  • Strong passion for and ideally experience in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and/or climate tech
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Interest in tax equity and project finance debt transactions
  • Familiarity with renewable energy project development and construction
  • Experience with due diligence processes and counterparty coordination
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Strong communication skills-verbal, written, and presentation
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset, a sense of humor, and a mission-driven attitude
