Internal Sales Manager
Summary
A growing investment firm is seeking an Internal Sales Manager to support its intermediary distribution business. This role sits within the firm's sales organization and partners closely with senior sales leadership to drive growth across a suite of investment solutions.
The position is a hands on, player‑coach role, responsible for leading a small internal sales team that supports external sales coverage across advisors, RIAs, and intermediary partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of internal sales professionals.
- Manage daily desk operations, including outbound activity, campaigns, territory alignment, and appointment setting.
- Support field sales through coordinated outreach and targeted initiatives.
- Provide ongoing coaching on sales skills, product knowledge, and messaging.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and firm compliance standards.
- Maintain strong CRM data integrity, reporting, and activity tracking.
- Partner cross functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing an internal sales desk or inside sales team within financial services.
- Strong understanding of intermediary or advisor focused sales environments.
- Proven ability to coach and develop junior sales talent.
- Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required.
- Series 24 license or willingness to obtain within six months.
- CRM experience required; reporting and dashboard experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and execution skills.
