We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Investment Director to join our Industrials team within a USD-denominated private equity fund. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sourcing, executing, and managing investments in the industrials sector, with deep sector knowledge and a robust network across Greater China.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end investment process including deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, negotiation, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of investment opportunities in the industrials sector.
  • Conduct in-depth industry and company research to identify trends and potential targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, advisors, and intermediaries.
  • Oversee portfolio companies, including strategic planning, operational improvements, and exit strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive value creation.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate M&A, with at least 5 years focused on the industrials sector.
  • Proven track record of leading successful investments and exits.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of industrials sub-sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, automation, or energy.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • MBA or equivalent from a top-tier institution preferred.
