FX Institutional Sales
An opportunity has arisen for a driven and client-focused Associate or Senior Associate to join the FX Sales team of a prominent European financial institution headquartered in Madrid. The role centres on delivering FX options to a diverse portfolio of institutional clients, leveraging the firm's strong regional presence and global capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients including asset managers, pension funds, hedge funds, and insurance companies.
- Provide bespoke FX options and structured products tailored to client's hedging and investment needs.
- Collaborate with trading, structuring, and research teams to deliver market insights and execute complex transactions.
- Monitor macroeconomic developments and FX market trends to identify opportunities and manage client risk.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal compliance frameworks.
- Support the strategic expansion of the FX options business across Iberia and select European markets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in FX sales, with a strong emphasis on options and derivatives.
- Proven ability to manage institutional relationships and drive revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of FX markets, macroeconomic factors, and derivative pricing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
