About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Equity Analyst to join our Long/Short Global Fund team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a passion for global markets, and experience in equity research. This role offers exposure to diverse geographies and sectors, with a particular emphasis on TMT, AI, and Semiconductor industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research on global and emerging market equities.
- Develop and maintain financial models, perform valuation analysis, and identify investment opportunities.
- Generate actionable long and short investment ideas aligned with the fund's strategy.
- Monitor industry trends, macroeconomic developments, and company-specific news.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers to support investment decisions.
- Prepare clear, concise research reports and present findings to the investment team.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Prior buyside experience strongly preferred; sell-side experience with strong stock-picking track record will also be considered.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
- Skills:
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Sector Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of TMT, AI, and Semiconductor sectors is a plus.
