A strong Annuity and Disability Insurance company is seeking a Senior Actuary to join their IDI Modeling team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced actuary with strong modeling expertise to play a key role in shaping the future of their actuarial modeling capabilities. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead innovative modeling initiatives, and help enhance our understanding of risk across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the development, analysis, and change management of models supporting ALM, JFSA, Cash Flow Testing, Economic Capital, and Risk Management.
- Identify, test, and implement model enhancements across various use cases.
- Collaborate with business unit actuaries and IT partners on model development projects.
- Lead onboarding efforts for new models and processes.
- Ensure projection models are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal controls.
- Communicate model results to leadership to inform strategic financial decisions.
- Support our Actuarial Transformation initiative, including the implementation of a new model orchestration platform.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven actuarial modeling experience, ideally in insurance or financial services.
- Strong technical skills and a passion for innovation in modeling practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
