The Role
A leading international financial institution is looking for a senior technology leader to take ownership of its technology, data, and information integrity function. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape strategy, strengthen resilience, and drive performance across a complex and regulated environment.
You will lead the development of a future-ready operating model, ensuring that technology, data, and security capabilities are aligned with business priorities and evolving regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the technology and data strategy in line with business and customer needs
Lead end-to-end technology operations, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable platforms
Own and deliver the technology and AI roadmap aligned with enterprise architecture
Embed governance frameworks that meet regulatory standards including DORA, BCBS239, and the EU AI Act
Manage technology, data, and AI risk within defined appetite
Improve service performance and reduce technical debt across systems and platforms
Strengthen cyber security capabilities including monitoring, defence, and incident response
Drive improvements in data quality, governance, and overall data management practices
Promote data literacy across the organisation
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technical teams
Oversee key operational services to ensure consistency, integration, and delivery quality
Lead large international teams and drive complex transformation initiatives
Requirements
Proven experience leading large-scale technology organisations in a regulated environment
Strong background in technology risk, cyber security, and data governance
Track record of delivering complex transformation and improving operational performance
Experience working with regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services
Ability to influence and communicate effectively at executive level
Strong stakeholder management across business and technology functions
Demonstrated incident management capability and ability to resolve issues at pace
Experience building high-performing teams across multiple locations
