VP / Senior Quantitative Analyst - Credit & Hybrid (Front Office)

A leading global investment banking platform is looking to hire a VP / Senior Quantitative Analyst to join its Front Office Credit Quant team in London. This is a high-impact role sitting directly on the trading floor, working closely with traders and structurers across credit and hybrid products.
This is an opportunity to be part of a growing franchise with strong momentum across credit and hybrid markets, offering meaningful exposure to pricing, risk, and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain core quantitative libraries and trading systems, with a focus on performance, robustness, and scalability
- Develop and implement pricing and risk models in C++ for flow, structured, and hybrid credit products
- Contribute to Python-based analytics and research workflows (pandas, NumPy, etc.)
- Partner closely with traders and structurers to support new product development and improve pricing frameworks
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day trading and pricing issues
- Contribute to the development of methodologies (e.g. bootstrapping, sensitivities, risk metrics)
- Collaborate with XVA, Risk, and Model Validation teams
- Produce clear technical and mathematical documentation
Requirements
- Strong experience in a Front Office quant role within Credit, Hybrid, XVA, or Structured Rates
- Excellent programming skills in C++ and Python
- Solid understanding of credit products and associated risk/pricing methodologies
- Strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, front office environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage across technical and business stakeholders
