The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day servicing of client accounts, focusing on retention, renewals, and development. This role emphasizes strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and place renewal business with appropriate carriers
- Conduct risk analysis and prepare renewal applications
- Review and present coverage options, exclusions, and conditions to clients
- Evaluate client risk profiles and provide coverage recommendations
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships
- Ensure timely and accurate service and processing in line with company standards
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers and underwriters
- Stay current on market trends and product offerings
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an Account Manager role
- 2 + years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance
- Active P&C license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of insurance products and coverage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
