Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a leading privately held industrial machinery manufacturing company actively looking to add a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to their organization in Chicago. This opportunity will allow you to work across global markets, join an established, growing and stable business that provides an incredibly close-knit and family-like culture.
This Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for:
- Strategize with the President and operate as his right hand in the business.
- Planning and managing post integration of the first ESOP transaction for the business.
- Gather and deliver financial information to the President and the board in a timely manner.
- Forecast and provide long-term financial planning.
- Leading and managing the finance and accounting teams by setting objectives and driving them from the top down.
- Managing the treasury function and managing cash flow.
This Chief Financial Officer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related fields required.
- CPA and MBA preferred but not required.
- 20+ years of experience within Finance and 5-10+ years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer.
- Experience with ESOP transactions preferred but not required.
- Experience working with several business lines/units and working across global markets preferred but not required.
- Experience within privately held companies and within manufacturing are strongly preferred.
