Job Title: Junior Commercial Manager - Precious Metals
Company Overview: We are a Pan-African mining company engaged in the production of base, precious, and minor metals, with a strong focus on sustainability and the energy transition.
Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Junior Commercial Manager to handle battery metals commercial activities. Responsibilities include client prospecting, promotion, relationship management, logistics planning, market reporting, contract negotiations, financing solutions, supplier management, and continuous improvement of product management and logistics optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Define commercial and marketing strategy
- Prospect potential clients and develop new business opportunities
- Promote the company and its products
- Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
- Plan shipments and coordinate with other departments
- Monitor market trends and report key activities
- Support contract negotiations and draft contracts
- Manage suppliers and oversee mining activities
- Assist in claim management processes
- Ensure compliance with KYC and ESG requirements
- Secure financing and credit lines
- Assist management with tasks, budgets, forecasts, and meetings
Requirements:
- Experience in traffic and commodity logistics, preferably in metals
- 1-2 years of commercial front office experience
- Fluency in French and English
- Master's degree in business or related field
- Versatile, agile, and highly motivated
Working Conditions: Friendly team environment in Baar with 2 days/week home office. Flexible schedules and some travel required.
