AVP of Originations
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven AVP of Originations to join our growing team in Miami, FL, with a primary focus on Bridge and Construction Lending. This individual will play a critical role in sourcing, structuring, and executing real estate debt transactions, working closely with developers, investors, and internal credit teams to deliver tailored financing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Origination & Deal Sourcing:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with real estate developers, brokers, and investors to source new lending opportunities.
- Focus on short-term bridge loans and ground-up construction financing across various asset classes (multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, etc.).
Transaction Management:
- Lead the underwriting and due diligence process for new loan originations.
- Prepare and present investment memoranda to credit committees.
- Negotiate loan terms and coordinate with legal counsel through closing.
Market Intelligence:
- Maintain deep knowledge of the South Florida real estate market, including trends, pricing, and competitive landscape.
- Monitor regulatory changes and construction activity impacting lending decisions.
Relationship Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact for borrowers throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal servicing and asset management teams to ensure smooth execution and portfolio performance.
