Associate Director, Reinsurance Associate
My client is seeking a Reinsurance Associate to support the development, execution, and ongoing management of annuity reinsurance programs. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, analytical professional with experience in life and/or annuity reinsurance who is eager to grow in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
You will work closely with cross‑functional internal teams-including finance, actuarial, legal, and investments-as well as external partners, to help structure, analyze, and monitor reinsurance transactions that support business objectives.
How You'll Contribute
- Assist with due diligence and transaction structuring for prospective reinsurance partners, including treaty review, pricing analysis, cash flow modeling, and risk assessment
- Support the execution of international annuity reinsurance transactions, coordinating across time zones and managing deliverables with reinsurers, brokers, and banking partners
- Maintain relationships with global reinsurance counterparties and intermediaries
- Ensure treaty requirements are met, including premium payments, collateral postings, settlement reporting, and ongoing compliance monitoring

- Experience in life and/or annuity reinsurance
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Detail‑oriented mindset with an interest in transaction execution and ongoing program management
