Actuary, Medical Stop Loss
We're partnering with a growing healthcare organization that's investing heavily in its self-funded business and looking to add an experienced Actuary to the team.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to be more than just a model builder. The team is looking for a true medical stop loss subject matter expert who can get into the details of pricing, assumptions, and risk analysis while also helping shape the long-term growth strategy of the business.
This is a highly visible role where you'll have the opportunity to influence both day-to-day pricing decisions and broader business strategy as the self-funded block continues to grow.
What they're looking for:
- ASA or FSA designation, required
- 4+ years of health actuarial experience
- Strong experience with self-funded/ASO plans and medical stop loss, required
- Deep understanding of stop loss pricing and underwriting concepts
- Comfortable owning models, defending assumptions, and partnering with business leaders
