Actuarial Analyst - Modeling

We are currently seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support statutory modeling efforts across Life, Annuity, LTC, and Health business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in advanced Excel techniques and programming tools
- Experience maintaining, validating, and enhancing actuarial models
- Comfortable contributing to large-scale departmental initiatives
- Strong process improvement mindset with a focus on automation
- Ability to analyze policy and claim trends, identify key drivers, and communicate findings effectively
- Exposure to research, experience studies, or statistical analysis
- Skilled in documenting actuarial work and methodologies
- Familiarity with developing and updating actuarial models
- Experience producing financial projections for corporate planning, cash flow testing, and financial reporting (STAT/GAAP/Tax)
- Understanding of valuation processes and a willingness to support ongoing enhancements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 2-4 years of actuarial experience, preferably in insurance
- Minimum of 3 actuarial exams passed; on track toward ASA designation
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced techniques) and programming tools such as SQL and R
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
