About the Role
Our client is a leading international bank with a strong presence across major financial hubs. They provide a full suite of banking and investment services to institutional clients worldwide. This is a brand-new growth role within the Client Solutions team, created as part of a structural change to enhance client experience. Historically, onboarding and account management were combined into one function; now, these responsibilities are split into two specialized roles: Implementation (onboarding) and Account Management (relationship growth post-go-live).
As an Account Manager, you will own the client relationship after onboarding is complete, focusing on commercial outcomes, client satisfaction, and long-term growth. You'll act as the primary point of contact for hedge fund operations teams, including Heads of Operations and COOs, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver best-in-class service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main relationship manager for clients post-onboarding.
- Drive relationship growth and identify revenue opportunities over time.
- Communicate new functionality and product enhancements to clients.
- Act as the voice of the client, advocating for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Manage escalations and ensure swift resolution of client queries.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Operations, IT, Legal, Credit) to deliver seamless service.
- Perform portfolio analysis to calculate margin and fee requirements.
- Support regional and global initiatives to improve client experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 4-8 years in account management or client servicing within financial services.
- Background in prime services and related products preferred; derivatives knowledge (FX, rates, futures) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Open to candidates from equities side for AM role.
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to manage senior client stakeholders.
- Familiarity with trade workflows, reporting requirements, and margin frameworks.

Compensation: Competitive base salary (range: $100,000-$150,000) plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k) match, health coverage, and flexible work arrangements.
